BLS Healthcare Provider Online Renewal Course


 
The online BLS Renewal Course provides a review for healthcare professionals who have prior CPR training.  This program recognizes that healthcare professionals have knowledge and skills acquired from prior CPR training and
years of patient care.

  Once you have completed the online portion of the course, you may come to EMS Educators for the skills validation portion.  After you have completed both sections of the course, you will be issued an American Heart Association BLS - Healthcare Provider card.


  The cost is $17.50 for the online portion, and the skills check off is $25.00 at EMS Educators.

Heartsaver First Aid Online w/CPR & AED Renewal

  This web-based e-learning product, the Heartsaver First Aid w/CPR & AED renewal course, provides the cognitive portion of the course online. There are two parts. Part 1 includes a series of modules that cover all required sequences for an American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED course. Participants also need to complete questions. Once part one is successfully accomplished, a certificate is received allowing them to take a skills test with a local AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor. Part 2 is the hands on skills session with the instructor. When both parts are finished, a course completion card is issued to the student. 

  Once you have completed the online portion of the course, you may come to EMS Educators for the skills validation portion.  After you have completed both sections of the course, you will be issued an American Heart Association BLS - Healthcare Provider card.


  The cost is $35.00 for the online portion, and the skills check off is $30.00 at EMS Educators.

                            Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  For healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, EMS personnel, etc.)
 
Through interactive case-based micro-simulation technology, this course teaches:
  1. Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions that may result in cardiac arrest or complicated resuscitation outcomes
  2. Management of cardiac arrest until return of spontaneous circulation, termination of resuscitation, or transfer of care
  3. Recognition of life threatening clinical situations such as stroke
  4. Identification and treatment of ischemic chest pain and expedition of the care of patients with acute coronary syndromes
  5. Effective communication as a member or leader of a resuscitation team and how to recognize the impact of team dynamics on overall team performance
  6. Basic life support care, including prioritizing chest compressions and integrating an AED
CME/CE/CEH credits offered for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists and EMTs/paramedics.


Skills session included with course. 


This course is not compatible with Macintosh or other operating systems.
